An opportunity has arisen within our IT/Web orientated company for a Business Administration Apprentice. This role covers a wide variety of tasks giving the successful applicant a good grounding in all aspects of Business Administration.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person with an eagerness to learn. We can offer the successful candidate a small and friendly team to work in, with lots of responsibility and direct client contact from the beginning and the opportunity to study for your Business Administration qualifications.

Personality profile Confident person who is able to deal with customers, staff and suppliers Willingness to pick up the phone! Eagerness to learn new skills Desire to provide excellent customer services Ability to fit in well with the existing team Skills profile A superb telephone manner Good attention to detail in all work, including emails and documents Organised and able to see things through to completion Excellent computer skills, including experience of using Windows Vista, Microsoft Office, the Internet and Social Media websites It will help if you can demonstrate the above skills by showing youve had a previous job, through volunteering or in your school activities.

Tasks In-bound calls answer incoming phone calls, direct calls to the correct team member, answer customer queries, and take messages Correspondence prepare reports, create letters & sales quotes, data entry & manipulation, send/receive emails and book appointments (using Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook) General Office duties welcome visitors, provide refreshments, keep office clean & tidy, filing, stationery ordering Assist with marketing undertake marketing activity under the supervision of the Sales Director, may include out-bound phone calls and organising events Assist with projects undertake project activity under the supervision of the Operations Director, may include out-bound phone calls and sending reports Deal with Accounts queries assist customers & suppliers with invoice queries, looking up details on Sage accounting package SEO / Online Marketing activity including edits to websites, updating social media profiles and link generation on behalf of the company and some customers

Job particulars This role is a Business Administration Apprentice and you will be given time to attend college Your normal place of work will be our offices at 11 Friday Court, North Street, Thame The role is full-time: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with time off for training Salary 118.50 per week (payable monthly in arrears) Holiday entitlement is 28 days per year including bank holidays
