We provide swimming instruction of a high standard thanks to our team of experienced and enthusiastic teachers who work without financial reward to ensure that swimmers receive the best possible tuition. Swimmers are not pressured and are able to progress at their chosen pace. Young swimmers are offered up to three sessions per week, giving them and their parents the choice whether to progress quickly by attending all three or more gradually by attending one or two. Senior and master swimmers are offered at least four training sessions per week.

Most weekends will find ADSC swimmers competing either in an inter club gala or league, or in an individual open meet. For away galas the team and supporters travel by coach which is heavily subsidised by the club, with the added attraction for team members of a McDonalds stop on the way home. A range of graded competitions are entered so that swimmers of all levels of achievement are given the opportunity to represent the club. The club takes part in the Speedo, Home Counties, Chiltern and Milton Keynes Junior Leagues. In November ADSC holds its annual Club Championships in which all active members are encouraged to take part, including our beginners.

Our training sessions take place at Aylesbury Grammar School, the Aqua Vale and at the Stoke Mandeville Stadium.

It is our wish that the opportunity to develop swimming skills be available to all members of the community and fees are therefore kept at an absolute minimum. Annual membership is £15 and monthly training fees £15. Family rates apply with the monthly fee for the second family member being £12 and for the third and subsequent family members £10.
