Further attractions are the big Crossley Gas Engine with its three-ton flywheel.
This is usually running on all our open days together with the Rack Saw, a massive Crossley Oil
Engine powered saw we use for cutting up tree trunks.

The museum at Pitstone
Green Farm houses a vast collection of relics of rural life, both agricultural and domestic,
together with crafts and trades that were once practised by the local community. Many of the
objects to be seen relate to the old type of farming carried on in the Vale of Aylesbury, before
the arrival of the tractor and the combine harvester.
Exhibits are continually being added. In 2004 an
additional model railway layout was completed. This is operated by the Chiltern Area Group of
the Gauge 1 Model Railway Association and occupies the full length of one of the buildings.
Our other layout is a model of Gerrards Cross station, now closed.
There is a Craft Fair, Morris or Country Dancing, Pottery
demonstration and Tractor rides over the fields on most open days; weather permitting.
